Today Sony Mobile has announced that the Sony Xperia SP (C5306) is now available in Canada. Three carriers have picked up the device including:
- Rogers: $0 on a 3-year contract and $324.99 outright
- Fido: $30 with select 2-year and $325 outright
- Virgin: $0 on the Platinum plan and $299.99 outright.
Only the black version of the handset is available "no white or red unfortunately".
If you want to buy it on-contract then you’ll be tied into a two or three year contract depending on the carrier.
Xperia SP will be available in black, runs Android OS 4.1, has a 4.6-inch display (1280 x 720 resolution), 1.7GHz dual-core processor, LTE connectivity, 8MP camera that shoots 1080p HD videos. Below are the prices for each carrier:
